Andy Ellis is vice president of Strategy for Boeing Government Operations. He is responsible for the planning and execution of government relations strategies on key Boeing programs and initiatives.

Ellis previously served as vice president of Boeing Defense, Space & Security for Washington, DC Operations.

Prior to joining Boeing, Ellis served as staff director of the Committee on Armed Services in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Ellis joined the Armed Services Committee's professional staff in 1987, where he was responsible for research, development and procurement accounts in addition to broader defense policy and budget issues. He was appointed minority staff director in 1990 where he served until appointed to the staff director position in 1995.

From 1985-1987 Ellis was a legislative assistant for National Security Affairs to Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.).

Ellis received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Vermont and his master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Southern California.
