Boeing Names Norm Scott President Of ARGOSystems SEATTLE, June 21, 1996 -- The Boeing Company has named Norm Scott president of its subsidiary, ARGOSystems. Scott replaces Tom Gubala, who concurrently was named executive vice president of Boeing Commercial Space Company. Located in Sunnyvale, Calif., ARGOSystems provides electronic warfare (EW), signal intelligence and support systems for the company. ARGOSystems designs and produces electronic support measures, electronic countermeasures, electronic intelligence, communications intelligence and integrated state-of-the-art EW systems for shipboard, submarine, airborne and ground-based applications. Prior to his current assignment, Scott served as ARGOSystems vice president of Business Development and Planning. At the same time, he managed and pursued several business development special projects for Boeing. Between 1989 and 1991, he was director of the U.S. Systems organization, responsible for business acquisition, engineering development and production for ARGOSystems' U.S. government contracts. Scott was named Advanced Systems Group engineering director in 1986, responsible for U.S. Air Force tactical reconnaissance systems. Prior to that position, he had numerous assignments related to business development and program management. Scott joined ARGOSystems in 1981. |
